Gotta' have some goals

I've got to set some goals for myself. I like to have something to work towards. So, this is my goal for this next 8 months

10 5k's in 2010

That's only 1/month plus two extra.
I've done a couple 5k's and last September's 5k really showed me that I could do it. Then came the hard winter. I tried to keep it up on the the treadmills, but have I ever told you how bad I hate treadmills?!? Ugh! But I'm back on board, I've been jogging and now I've got some plans.

Alesa has kindly agreed to join me on my quest. What would I do without that girl???
Our first one is at Health Days on May 8th. I think we'll end with the Beat the New Year on December 31st. (Maybe by then I'll actually be able to do it in the 30 minutes!) Come join us! We'd love to have you for all or some of them! Or find some in your neck of the woods and do it too. Just make sure to let me know how you're doing! 5k's that are in the plans:

5/8- Health Days
6/19- Running with Angels
7/10- Farmington Festival Days
8/7- Bear Lake Raspberry 5k
9/18- Top of Utah 5k
10/?- Red Ribbon
11/20- Turkey Trot
11/27- Santa Run (we get to dress like Santa for this one!)
12/31- Beat the New Year

Good for you! I'm in! I signed up for two triathlons. One on June 6th and one on June 19th. 2 down 8 to go!
