Sunday morning I got up and started on a sign-up sheet I need for Relief Society. It's a pretty involved sign-up sheet (2 pages long- numerous things to sign up for). I had it all done, was just proofing it to print when all the sudden the power went out. I sat there stunned for a minute and then decided it would be ok, because it'll come back on in a couple of minutes. Nope, 15 minutes went by and I called my mom to see if hers was out, she's had a flicker but it was still on. Hmmm, so I called the power company. This was the first they'd heard about it. They had us flip some breakers and when that didn't do anything they said they'd send out the truck. So, all morning long there was no power, finally it came on just before 2:00. Five hours without power. It was interesting. Nothing life threatening. We ate cereal for breakfast, Doug couldn't wear the shirt he wanted because he couldn't iron it and I had to get ready in the dark. When we went to church you could tell that all the ladies only had "half done" hair. Funny thing was, I didn't really know what to do with myself. No computer, no TV, no radio. Wow! It was kind of fun. I read a book the girls played a game. Bevan ran all over the house saying "dawk, dawk". I did have to redo that sign-up sheet by hand. Ugh! Hated that, but it was still ok. Maybe I'll have to pick one day a month and go "unplugged" at least from the computer, tv and radio. I might find more peace and time in my life!
Well, I'm off to do a zone- got 2 today! Then Maddie and I are going to Subway, she's really been craving some "healthy" food (so she says). So, we made a date for today! Have a good one!

That is great idea. I try to go unplugged until I get my housework done, and most the time I still have a hard time going without checking my email. I should do that.
What a Sunday for you! Unplugged sounds like a good idea. All these elctronic things are so addicting!
