Can you believe it's been 2 years since that horrible time? We celebrated Bevan's birthday at Hogle Zoo with Alesa & family, Grandma Meikle, Grandma Austin, and Will (Bevan's cousin who is 1 month older, and entered the world much the same as Bevan). I do think the zoo is one of Bevan's favorite places. He knows most of the animal's names and their sounds! (Isn't he brilliant! ;) )
Bevan is such a joy! And I'm so glad he is in our family. I've often said that if all your kids could be like Bevan, you'd have 15. Bevan is so easy going and fun. Most of the time he's very happy and loving. He gives great hugs but doesn't like kisses as much. He loves to eat, and we haven't found a food that he hasn't liked. (Oh, except his 1st birthday cake) He's a very clean eater and Doug says it's because Bevan doesn't want to waste any of his food! ;) Bevan loves to be outside and would spend all his days there. He got a sandpile for his 1st birthday and that is one of his very favorite places to be. Bevan loves to follow his sisters around and wants to be right in the middle of their action. (Often much to his sister's chagrin!) Bevan likes to hammer and loves to listen to Katie play the piano. Bevan spent the first 18 months of his life not sleeping through the night and spent many of those nights in our bed (so at least I could get some sleep), but now he is our best sleeper often asking to go to bed by about 8:30. Bevan loves animals and has no fear of animals or people. Even yesterday while at the zoo he walked off and had disappeared for quite a while. When Katie finally found him he didn't even know he was alone, he just thought he was playing a game and took off running! (Little stinker). Bevan is finally learning to talk and uses sentences. He loves cars, trucks, balls and even knows what a Jeep is (much to his father's delight!) Bevan likes to collect pennies (can say that word) and loves to put them in his pocket. He loves shoes and will often be naked (or at least just a diaper) but will have to have his shoes on.
We love Bevan and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!

I can't beleive he's two! Wow! It was fun to hear all about him. What a cute boy Bevan is...I loved the cake too.

Happy Birthday Beven! There are lots of birthdays in the fam around this time of year. Kali is very excited for Katie to come! We even got her a bunk bed just for when her friends come to visit!
What a cute little guy-Happy Birthday. Some day I'll have to get the story of his birth from you.
Congrats on winning your competition and on the weight loss and consistant excersising. I am so impressed.

WOW! He is growing up. I am sure you made that awesome cake. You are so good at that kind of stuff. Good job on 6 pounds. You are amazing.
