We're Losers

The biggest losers, that is!!!!! Our team won. We won by 2 1/2%! Woo Hoo! Our team lost a total of 207.6 pounds. That is 1 large person or 2 small people. All in 8 weeks, pretty amazing! We were given the choice between $500 cash or a family membership (1 year) and our Body Bugg. I chose the membership and Body Bugg. I actually think Doug is as excited as I am. I'm thrilled that we won, but I do have to say that I'm not as excited as I thought I would be. The 35.8 pounds was way more exciting to me. The 13 mile hike was more exciting and definitely the relationships formed were the best!

I am very sad to not have the daily interaction with my team, but we are going to try to continue to go hiking on Tue. mornings. I'm getting up tomorrow morning and going to water aerobics. I am going to try to give my knee a break this week so I will be doing lots of swimming and water aerobics with the exception of my Tues. hike. Hopefully, by next week I'll be able to get back to walking and hopefully a little more running.

Ok, sharing my goals so that I have some accountability. I am going to try to continue to update my weight loss weekly- sorry you have to deal with it. They are going to be doing another Bodybugg challenge in September. I am planning on joining it again, but by then I want to lose another 20 pounds. I'll keep you all updated.

This is us getting our "big checks". Notice Bevan had to be right with me- what's up with that? So grateful that our families were there to support us! We couldn't have done any of this without them.
