The biggest losers that is! Whoo hoo!!! Our contest ended yesterday with our final weigh in and today was the awards. It was close, with attendance and weight loss factored together we had a score of 52.622%! The second place team had a score of 52.477%. We barely made it, but we did it! Each person on the team got $300. What a great thing for this time of year! I ended up losing 34.8 pounds (oh, I wanted that 35 lbs!) I'm pretty proud of that, but I'm even more proud of the other successes I've had. I can do spin class and fully participate. I can climb every single stair of the University Stadium and still have energy left over to RUN the football field for another 30+ minutes (even while carrying Bevan). I can almost run an entire 5k. I can climb mountains carrying Bevan on my back, I can even run some of those trails (but not with Bevan on my back!). Most importantly, I've made 6 WONDERFUL new friends with some amazing women. These women are from all different walks of life, but because of what we've gone through together we have learned to love each other and embrace each other's strengths when we don't have enough strength to go on.
Btw, where'd that guy from our team go? Well, he's a big whimp and couldn't keep up with a bunch of women so he dropped off. (He actually had some other lame excuse- but we know that's the real reason!) And my total (overall) weight loss is 60 pounds! Still have a ways to go but I'll get there one day. Now, I'm just enjoying my success and the incredible way I feel!

I love that you posted those pics, and that you are sharing with us. Will you just continue on your journey or do another competition. I bet it helps to have someone to be acountable too. I am so pround of you, you really are an inspiration.

Stephanie!!! You look amazing! Words can't even express how proud of you I am...I know that sounds like such a mother thing to say, but it's true! I wouldn't even be able to keep up with you...you would have to be my trainer! I think it's awesome all of the hard you have done and that you are feeling so good. Yay for Steph!
