Well, it's the end of another fun Halloween. Have I mentioned I love Halloween? The kids and I plan for months what their costumes will be and then the day (and sometimes the week before) are filled with fun and activity. This year the kids were all Wizard of Oz characters. (Inspired by my dress from Holly's wedding :) ) Katie was Dorothy, complete with ruby slippers. Maddie was Glinda, the good witch and Bevan was a munchkin straight from the lollipop guild. We made his hair crazy, and he loved it. I fixed it in the morning and all day he went around showing me how excited he was with it.
Today Katie was out of school so she was able to go with me to see Maddie's school costume parade. Then we came home and made chili and finger jello. Followed by a night of trick or treating. Doug's mom came and spent the evening with us, so fun to have her here. She kept Doug from getting too spooked by all the little spooks! The girls loved trick or treating and would have gone all night. It took Bevan a while to figure it all out but loved seeing all the other kids dressed up. What a fun night!

Great costumes! You look like you had a great time! I wouldn't have recognized Katie will all that dark hair. I love Bevan's hair. How did the shoes workout?
The shoes were perfect. He actually loved them. He knew that he was "all that"!
