What is it about vacations that makes it take FOREVER to catch up once you get home? Yup, we had a wonderful vacation to sunny San Diego and L.A. But, now I'm home and I've got a ton of stuff to catch up on. So, I'll fill ya' all in on the trip later.
For now, Doug started his new job on Monday. He's loving it! I'm so happy for him. Me, I'm still trying to get used to it. I am so spoiled by his being home by 3:30 everyday. Now, he goes to work before 7:00 and doesn't get home until after 5:30. It's ok, just an adjustment. I'm trying to figure out how I can fit in working and taking care of the kids and everything else I do and not have Doug home to help out. He has been such a major help! I am SO happy that Doug is happy with his new job. He just seems more relaxed and happy. So glad!

Jobs can make or break you. I am glad he has found one he enjoys. I am happy that your trip was nice. I have found that it is easier when they are not around at 3:30. From 3:00 until 4:30, I do something for me. You should do that too.
I'm glad he started his new job and is enjoying it! Adjustments are hard, especially when it has to do with husbands getting home later. That time from 3:30 - 5:30 is the worst too. We usually are anxious around our house and don't know what to do with ourselves until dad gets home. I just read Andrea's comment about doing something for herself around that time of day. I'm going to try that...wait, I guess I am! It's 4:30 and I'm blogging! Who knew!?!?
