Darn!

We were going to head down to "This is the Place" state park and experience Christmas Pioneer style and then spend the night at Alesa's house and celebrate her birthday. But since it snowed at least 6" today and it's still snowing I guess we're just going to hunker down here at home for the night, that's not all bad (I guess). They say you have to have chains to go through the canyon and Doug had to be pushed up our hill, definitely safer here at home.
The kids are out of school for the next two weeks and we are done with all our programs, recitals, etc... Now it's just the fun stuff! Hooray! I'm excited! Unfortunately I know the time will pass way too fast!
On Wed. we went with our friends to go see the lights at Willard Bay- so much fun! This couple is about 70 years old but we have so much fun with them! They love our kids (like grandparents) and they are so easy to talk to. We forgot to take pictures but we had a great time eating dinner, driving through the lights and even taking a horse drawn wagon ride through the lights, but boy was it cold!

I love all the snow!!! You are smart not to travel. Make some hot chocolate and popcorn.

I'm glad your being safe about driving in the snow. I wish I was there getting snowed in! I'm glad your list is all done and you are to the fun stuff too. Doesn't it feel so good? You're right, it will go by way too fast...so sad!
