Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful weekend. We spent Saturday with Alesa for her and Hailey's birthdays and we went to see the lights at Temple Square. Sunday, Katie and I baked cookies and brownies like crazy, went to church (where I taught Young Women) then rushed right out to the Austin's. We had a wonderful! Christmas party (I'll give details later). We spent the night, Doug went to work and the kids and I stayed until 5pm playing games, decorating gingerbread houses and being together. Then last night we had a wonderful "giving" experience. My heart was softened and touched. Have I mentioned I love this time of year????

The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others' burdens, easing other's loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas.
