Today is our 14th anniversary. I can barely believe it's been that many years. It's been wonderful! Not all the times have been good, but there is no one I would rather share them with than Doug. He is a great man. And for me, he is probably the perfect man. No one else would humor me through my hair brained ideas or calm me down or love me quite the way he does.
Doug was working all day today but he got off a little early so he was home early enough that we were able to go have a nice, relaxing dinner followed by walk through the cemetery. Some people might think that's morbid, but I love it. I wish people's stories were written on their gravestones there are so many I wonder about.
Thanks Doug and happy anniversary! I'm looking forward to many more!

Happy Anniversary! How wonderful for you guys. 14 years! Wow! Congrats. My mom LOVES cemeteries too. She could walk through them all day. How funny. Glad you had a good day!
congrats on the anniversary!
Happy anniversary to a wonderful couple! I feel the same way about cemeteries and peoples' life stories. I've had picnics in cemeteries (every Memorial Day)!
Happy Anniversary. I'm happy to see you smiling. Stephanie, I have to apologize because I only today looked through your blog and learned about your pregnancy and loss. I send my love and sympathy. Once your life calms down I'd like to go to lunch and catch up. --Debbie Raymond
Happy Anniversary. I hope that your next month is okay. I know it will be hard, but after 14 years you can survive anything right.
